On January 31, 2008, Jill Heineck and Christine Harper hosted a breakfast, sponsored by CompuPay, to honor their corporate sponsors.  The event took place from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at their Keller Williams office in Sandy Springs. Corporate partners included Countrywide Lenders, State Farm Insurance, Brinks Home Security and many more.

On October 18th, 2007, Neighborhood HERO was a participant in the Atlanta Housing Fair.  The event took place from 12 to 5 p.m. at City Hall, and featured speeches by Mayor Shirley Franklin, members of the Atlanta Police Foundation and the Atlanta Development Authority.

On May 12, 2007, Harper and Heineck attended the APF's Policeman's Ball. “A Night With the Blues” was held at the Georgia Aquarium and raised nearly $290,000.

In March 2007, Neighborhood HERO launched their Visits To Sandy Springs. Heineck and Harper went to the Sandy Springs Police Department Headquarters and met with the crew members at Station House 4.
